3.2 Screen is Usable
If the screen is usable use the following flowchart:
Check The Event Log:
1. Using the mouse, enter the Event Viewer through the Start, Programs, Administrative
Tools, and Event Viewer Menus.
2. Look for events generated by “rw”.
3. If there are any events listed, they may indicate configuration problems that would
prevent the PowerStorm 1000 device drivers from loading. Some events to look for
include:
•
Hbus cable not detected
•
Graphics Interface Module not detected
•
Vertex Module not detected
•
Invalid Image Rendering Module configuration detected
•
No supported Standard or High Resolution Module detected
Refer to Appendix D for a complete listing of event log messages and their causes.
If any of these messages appear in the event log, the PowerStorm device hardware is either
misconfigured or malfunctioning and customer service should be notified.
