Load the paper, squeeze the release tab and slide the
paper guide to the edge of the paper.

Raise the input tray and press it firmly against the back
of the A3000.
Important:
Ensure both latches are securely fastened. Otherwise, you may
experience misfeeds or paper jams.
Printing a document
To print a document:

Start a program and create a document, or open an existing
document that you want to print.

Open the program's
File
menu.

Select
Print…
or
Print Setup
from the
File
menu. Make
sure the Compaq A3000 is selected as your printer. If it
isn't, select it now.
Note:
When installed, your A3000 is initially set as the default printer.

Click
Properties
or the
Setup
button if you want to change
the settings that are appropriate for printing that document.

Select
OK
to close the Properties dialog box.

Select
OK
to print after making any necessary changes to
your print settings.
