1. Introduction
The
ASAP P2.5X
is specifically designed for SOHO (Small Office
Home Office) users who need a cost-effective telephone system
that has the functions of a PBX and a key-phone system.
It has functional features to automate your telecommunication
system in the office and serves as your own personal assistant,
whether you are in the office, at home, or on the road. The
ASAP P2.5X
uses standard telephones.
You can connect up to five telephone devices to two
telephone lines, allowing the devices to share the lines.
These devices can be a telephone, FAX, modem, or any device that
connects to a telephone line. No PC is required for installation, as it
is a stand-alone product. An installation guide with pictures and
drawings make self-installation possible without professional help.
According to standard industry practice, surge protection is recommended for use with all electronic
devices. A surge suppressor and/or line conditioning should be used on the input power supply, as well as
the connected telephone line.
