3. System programming
Throughout the programming section you will see the use of
. This indicates to hang up the telephone
handset for two (2) seconds and then pick it up again.
3.1 Assigning telephone lines
There are 5 configurations. Choose the option based on how many incoming lines you have and how you
want to use the system. To receive fax calls automatically,
LINE 2
must be used.
3.2 Two telephone lines for voice calls ONLY. (Default Setting)
Both lines are initially assigned for voice calls only.
1. Lift the handset connected to
EXT 20
– the system tone is heard.
2. Press
- you will hear a long tone.
3. Replace the handset for two seconds, then lift the handset. You will hear the system tone again.
4. Press
- you will hear a long tone.
5.
Replace the handset for two seconds, then lift the handset. You will hear the system tone again.
6.
Press
- you will hear two short system tones.
7. Hang up.
Note:
1. A long tone indicates you are in the programming mode or to acknowledge a change in a
setting. Two short tones indicate exiting the programming mode.
2. To set
series commands, the program code
must be enabled.
3. After setting the parameters, exit programming mode
