3.3 Line 2 for fax only
When you have two incoming telephone lines, to program
LINE 1
for voice calls and
LINE 2
for fax
calls, use the following programming sequence:
1. Lift the handset connected to
EXT 20
– the system tone is heard.
2. Press
- you will hear a long tone.
3. Replace the handset for two seconds, then lift the handset. You will hear the system tone again.
4. Press
- you will hear a long tone.
5.
Replace the handset for two seconds, then lift the handset. You will hear the system tone again.
6.
Press
- you will hear two short system tones.
7.
Hang up.
Note:
When a fax is connected to
EXT 24/FAX
,
LINE 2
is assigned as fax only. Do not press 9 to get
dial tone on
EXT 24
, simply send your fax.
3.4 Line 2 for fax and voice calls

and voice calls, use the following programming sequence:

- you will hear two short system tones.
7. Hang up.
