6.2 Placing outbound calls
There are two methods to select a line for outbound calls.
Method 1: Press
1. Lift the handset - the system tone is heard.
2. Press
3. Dial the telephone number.
Note:
When both telephone lines are busy, the system can be programmed to notify you when a line
becomes available.
Method 2: Direct Line Selection

1. Lift the handset - the system tone is heard.
2. Press
- dial tone stops.
3. Press line

4. Dial telephone number.
6.3 Call transfer
To transfer a call to another extension:

Note:
Flash – press flash button or receiver button for 0.5 second. If you press the receiver button too
quickly, the call will not transfer. Or, if you press the receiver button too long, the line will
disconnect (flash time is 80ms~800ms).
1. To transfer a call, press flash button or receiver button on your telephone:
This will place the call on hold.
- The system tone is heard.
- The other call is placed on hold.
2. Press the extension number.
