Note
: Feed Adjustment test should be done for every pass. Thus, before performing this test, select the pass in
which printing has to be done.
Horizontal Adjustment
This adjustment calibrates all the color channels with respect to the base color so that each color is properly
aligned with others. The horizontal adjustment test includes the left, right, and bi-direction alignment tests.
The
Left Align test
result is shown in the image below:

Let’s assume that the printer has only one head. In the
above figure, check all the patterns, select the best one
and input the value into LCD control panel. As per the above test result,
“0”
is the best value for all the groups.
Note
: For two heads, the way of calibration is same as for one head.
The
Right Align test
is similar to the left align test. The same pattern is printed on the media from which you need
to select the best pattern and get the possible correction value. You have to enter the correction value in the given
field using the LCD control panel. Now, the printer is effectively aligned horizontally.

: Above tests are mandatory to perform to ensure high quality printing output.
