1. Using your 3mm Allen wrench, disengage
the motor from the circular feed by
loosening the mounting screws in their
slots and moving the motor away from
the body of the feed assembly in its
mounting slots.
2. Disengage the potentiometer from the
circular feed by loosening the two screws
through the slotted holes in the bracket
and moving the pot bracket away from
the body of the feed assembly in one or
both slots.
3. Replace the pot as necessary (refer to pot
replacement procedure), do not engage
pot sprocket and continue with the
following steps to align/calibrate.
4. Look up from the scalar plate of the feed
toward the top of the feed assembly to
view the alignment notches on the
underside of the circular section.
5. Using your 2mm Allen wrench, unscrew
the alignment pin and remove the
standoff used to stow the pin in place on
the feed. Save the standoff to re-stow
the alignment pin at the end of this
procedure.
6. Make sure that the circular section of the
feed can rotate freely by turning it with
your hand.

7. Using your 2mm Allen wrench, screw the
alignment pin into the shoulder of the
feed while carefully rotating the circular
section of the feed to align the notch and
the alignment pin. Screw the alignment
pin fully into the LHCP notch.
8. In ProgTerm, type “u”. The result should
be formatted as shown to the right. Pot
measurements for the circular feed are
the four digit “ZZZZ” value following the
“V”.
9. Rotate the sprocket on the
potentiometer and type “u” to display the
new value. Continue adjusting the pot
