Power up
5.3.1
To connect the power cable to the ACU
1. Connect the positive and negative input terminals to the ship's DC supply according to

Power-up procedure
1. Connect power to the modem.
2. Switch on the ACU. The unit starts up and goes through an initialization procedure:
• ACU POST
• ADU Initializing
• ADU POST
• READY
This may take some time (up to a couple of minutes).
3. The SAILOR 900 Ka is ready to be calibrated (for first time power up) or receive data
from the modem (when in normal operation).
