The machines in the CHAMP Pro series are robust, infinitely
adjustable MIG/MAG pulsed arc welding power sources.
The power sources work on the basis of pre-programmed
synergy characteristic curves. An operation without synergy
characteristic curves is possible as well.
The machines are intended for demanding and complex
welding tasks in the industrial sector.
Cooling of the power parts is effected by an active cooling
via front and rear. The machine is mobile and/or can be
transported by means of a crane.
The power sources are provided with an external wire
drive unit (QINEO Wire Drive). The installation of the wire
coil (D300) is easy and functional. The wire coil support is
designed for commercial coils (max. 15 kgs). The PREMIUM
user interface with a display provides the required welding
adjustments, is ergonomically designed and is sufficiently
protected against pollution and damage. The power part
and the control are structurally separated to prevent the
pollution of the control. The housing is equipped with a gas
cylinder support for standard gas cylinders. The connections
for the torch cable assembly are located at the front of the
QWDM or QWDA wire drive unit. A liquid cooling for the
torches is standard in this machine class. As an option the
power source can also be supplied as gas-cooled version.
The power sources weld in the short and spray arc range,
but they are particularly suitable for the MIG/MAG pulsed
arc process and applied for welding thin, medium and thick
sheets (3 -12 mm). The Champ CW Pro is operating with AC
technology and is therefore particularly suitable for thin
sheet applications.
Materials to be welded are: Quality steel, CrNi steel,
aluminium (AlMg, AlSi, AlMn) and copper-based materials
(CuSi, AlBz).
The power source operates in synergy mode and is provided
with a wire fine adjustment and a dynamic mode. The
synergy function can be deactivated. The power source
has a characteristic curve preselection for gas/material to
be welded and wire diameter which is integrated in the
operating module. The QINEO CHAMP Pro machine series is
provided with the PREMIUM operating module. A language
file in the languages German, English, French, Spain and
Italian can be loaded for the labelling.
