PRE-EMERGENCE MARKERS
Depending on your machines specifications pre-emergence markers may be fitted to your machine. This
optional extra allows tramline marks to be made visible behind the drill, therefore making it easier to apply
pre-emergence sprays. Images of the markers can be seen below.
1. LH pre-emergence
marker
2. RH pre-emergence
marker
The pre-emergence markers will be activated when the target tramline bout number is reached. If the
markers are not leaving enough of a visible scratch mark during use then the aggressiveness of them
can be altered. This is achieved by slackening the retaining bolts and turning the stub axle to increase
aggressiveness.
1. Slacken bolts to alter
marker
2. Marker stub axle
Once the points have become worn it may be advisable to extent the marker points using the extra holes.
This is accomplished by removing the two bolts, sliding the point further down the tine and reinserting the
bolts. This will ensure a clear mark is left behind the drill.

2. Bolts to remove in order
to extend point
