Changing the chest strap battery
1. Turn the battery compartment’s cover from its original
CLOSE
position so
that the cover’s arrow now points to the
OPEN
position.
2. Remove the cover.
Note:
The cover has a thin O-ring to prevent dust and
moisture from entering the device. Make sure that you do not lose this.
3. Remove the old battery and insert a new one (CR2032).
Note:
Note
the polarity markings at the bottom of the battery compartment to ensure
correct insertion. The plus symbol should be on top facing you and fit
securely under the small retaining bracket. Make sure that the O-ring is
undamaged during battery change.
4. Refit the cover by placing it over the compartment with the arrow symbol
pointing to
OPEN
, then turn it clockwise towards
CLOSE
in order to close it.
8. Care and maintenance
• Handle the watch and chest strap carefully. Never subject them to
unnecessary knocks or blows.
• Clean the watch and chest strap with a lightly moistened soft cloth.
• Store the watch and chest strap in a dry place if you do not intend to
use them for a long time.
9. Troubleshooting
Heart rate is
not displayed.
• Chest strap is improperly positioned.
• The chest strap’s contact point is too dry. Moisten it.
• The chest strap must be in direct contact with your skin.
• The distance between the watch and chest strap is
too great.
Heart rate
is displayed
irregularly or
is interrupted.
• The chest strap battery may be flat. Check the battery.
Replace if necessary.
• Data transfer can be interfered with by electromagnetic
fields coming from transformers, computers, power
lines, etc.
