Adjusting Audio Guidance
You can use the procedure below to adjust the
voice route guidance.

On the map screen, tap
and then tap
.
This displays a volume control screen.
The following describes the functions of the keys
on the screen.

Changing the Specified Route
Use the procedure below to alter the options for
the currently specified route in order to make the
route more efficient.
CAUTION
To change the route while driving, first stop
the vehicle in a parking lot or some other
safe location.

On the main menu, tap the [Edit route] key.
This displays the route planning screen.
NOTE
The route start point is not saved under initial
factory default settings.

On the list, tap [Last known position].
This displays the New destination screen.

Specify the new destination.
This returns to the route planning screen.
The destination you input will be the route
start point, which will be displayed at the
top of the route planning screen.
Next, add the destination.

Tap the [Add destination] key.

Specify the new destination.
Voice command
volume
Adjusts voice guidance
volume. The settings you
configure here are applied
to navigation voice
guidance only.
Voice command via
docking station
Specifies the audio output
destination.
ON: Outputs audio from
the vehicle's speakers
when the unit is mounted
on the optional Car Dock
(NK1U).
OFF: Outputs audio from
the unit's built-in speaker.
Voice command in
vehicle
Outputs audio from the
vehicle's left or right
speaker when the unit is
mounted on the optional
Car Dock (NK1U).
