E-Mail
The E-Mail application can be used to send and
receive e-mail.
The first time you start up the E-Mail application,
you will need to set up an e-mail account. You
can set up multiple e-mail accounts as required.
NOTE
Only the POP3 protocol is supported.

Setting Up an E-mail Account

On the Home screen, tap the [E-Mail] key.
This displays a list of accounts.

This displays the account setup screen.
The following describes the settings on the tabs
of the account setup screen.

On the [Basic], [Receive], [Send], [SSL],
and [Advanced] tabs, configure the settings
you want and then tap
.
This registers account settings and returns
to the account list screen.
To edit account settings, tap
.
To delete account settings, tap
.
Selecting an account and tapping the [Set
as default account] key will set the selected
account as the default, which is indicated
by “D” to the left of the account on the
account list. This setting is linked to the
“Set as default” setting on the [Basic] tab of
the account setup screen.
Executing a receive all mail operation will
receive mail for accounts for which the
check box in the “G” column is selected in
the account list. Receive is performed for
these accounts in sequence, from top to
bottom.
Basic
Configures basic account settings,
such as account name, client
information, provider information, etc.

Configures mail message receipt
settings.
Send
Configures mail message send
settings.
SSL
Configures SSL (Secure Socket
Layer) mail message encryption
settings.
Advanced
Specifies the port to be used for send
and receive.
