10.Troubleshooting
10.1 Actions to take when problems occur
When problems occur, identify them by following the procedures below upon confirming safety.
①
Check the confirmation of body light indicator condition on the side surface of the motor
case.
a.Lights-up in green: It is ready-to-operate.
b. Flashes in green: Input from PLC is invalid.
(Teaching pendant is valid and origin is undetected.)
c. Lights-up in red: Alarm has been triggered.
d. Lights-out: Control power supply is shutdown.

Check if there is any abnormality in the host controller.

Check the voltage of 24VDC control power supply.
④
Check the voltage of 24VDC motor power supply.
⑤
Check for any alarm.
Check the alarm description with the teaching pendant.
⑥
Check the I/O signal conditions with the teaching pendant.
⑦
Make sure there are no connections, disconnections, or pinching of the cables.
If performing a continuity check, always turn off the power and disconnect the cables
first. (This is done to prevent electrical shocks.)

Make sure there are measures against noise (such as connection of grounding conductor,
installation of surge absorber, etc.).
⑨
Confirm the processes to the time and the operating condition at the time when the
problem occurred.
⑩
Verify the product serial number.
