８．Setting and Operations Necessary for Setting

     

8.1 Connecting the Teaching Pendant 

ａ）  Connection 

Remove the protective cover that is attached to the teaching pendant connecting port located on the 
motor cover face of the actuator before connecting the connector on the teaching pendant. 
CAUTION: Please make sure that it is firmly connected. 
Be careful not to lose the removed protective cover.

 

 

ｂ）

Disconnection

 

Return to the Main Menu by operating the keys on the teaching pendant. 
After that, disconnect the connector on the teaching pendant and attach the protective cover. 

CAUTION: If it is disconnected in a condition where “operations from PLC are disabled”, it will reject 
movements from PLC. 

 

CAUTION： 

Refer to teaching pendant instruction manual [ETP-2 (SM-431061)] for details.
