Audience

This guide is for the networking or computer technician responsible for installing
a Cisco LRE CPE, a Long-Reach Ethernet (LRE) customer premises equipment
(CPE) device. We assume that you are familiar with the concepts and terminology
of Ethernet and local area networking.

Purpose

The Cisco LRE CPE Hardware Installation Guide describes the hardware features
of the Cisco LRE CPE devices. It describes the physical and performance
characteristics of the CPEs, explains how to install a CPE, and provides
troubleshooting information and specifications.
