4.7 Blade Removal
Blade Removal Procedure - Brush Cutter On The Ground
Cutter blades are sharp and could cut you if mishandled. ALWAYS wear protective
gloves and footwear when handling cutter blades.
Figure 4.6a Blade Holder Access Opening
With the brush cutter on the ground:
1. Ensure the hydraulic hoses are disconnected from the skid steer couplers.
2. Rotate the blade holder until the 1/2” blade holder nuts are visible in the access
opening.
3. Remove the hex nuts, washers and bolts.
4. Carefully pull the blade from the holder.
5. Remove the 2” bushing.
