4.4 Blade Assembly Maintenance Procedures
BOLT TORQUE REQUIREMENTS
• Apply and maintain proper torque on all bolts.
• Torque values are based on dry conditions. Do not grease or oil bolts.
• Wipe bolts clean and apply
Loctite Green 290
before tightening bolts.
• Use a torque wrench to assure the proper amount of torque is being applied to the bolt.

Torque Value - Blade Holder Bolts (3/4 x 2-3/4 Inch UNF)
Torque Value - Blade Bolts (1/2 - 13 UNC 2 - 1/4 Inch HEX)
Note:
1. Follow the directions as shown on the product.
2. When removing bolts it may be necessary to apply
localized heat of at least 250 deg C to the nut or bolt.
