4.4 Blade Assembly Maintenance Procedures Cont.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) REQUIREMENTS
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
To complete the maintenance procedures described in this section, you may need the
following tools:
• 1/2 inch drive breaker bar
• 3/4 inch impact socket
• 1/2 inch impact socket
• Tapping Hammer
• 1/2 inch drive torque wrench
• Nylon prybar set
• Lifting device (overhead crane hoist, forklift)
• Safety stands
• Chocks for skid loader (when performing services to cutter that is attached to skid loader)
To avoid serious injury or death only use jacks, hoists, lifts and tools that have the
capacity for the job. Use certified safety stands rated to support the applicable
load.
