Touch panel controller issues

The following topics cover common touch panel controller issues and their solutions.

Touch panel controller fails to initialize

The touch panel controller does not start up successfully.

Resolution

•

Restart the projector.

•

Make sure the compact flash on the left side is installed correctly.

•

Make sure the touch panel controller is connected to the projector.

Button presses on the touch panel controller are not
registering correctly

Pressing buttons on the touch panel controller behave as if a different button was pressed.

Details

If the location of button presses on the screen are not interpreted correctly, the TPC screen may need
recalibrating.

Resolution

1. Select Menu > Administrator Setup > Preferences.
2. Select Calibrate Screen and follow the onscreen instructions.
