Enabling Smart Light Control
Smart Light Control automatically calibrates the luminance of the display panel using internal sensors.
1. Press MENU on the remote control or keypad.
2. Select Advanced Settings > Smart Light Control.
3. Select one of the following.
•
Consistency—Use this setting to make the luminance of the display panel consistent over
time. The display panel uses internal sensors to compensate for natural drifts in backlight
luminance.
When using Consistency mode, verify that the backlight is set to 90% or less.
•
Video Wall—Use this setting to make the luminance of the display panel match the other
panels in a video wall regardless of unit-to-unit variation or drifts in individual panels over
time. The display panel communicates with the rest of the video wall and attempts to
match its luminance to adjacent panels.
When using Video Wall mode, verify that the backlight is set to 90% or less. All display
panels must be daisy-chained together using the RS485 inputs and outputs.
