General
3.9.1.
SIP Settings
Click “General” menu, and “SIP settings” submenu, the “SIP settings” page will appear.
UDP Port to bind to:
Sets the UDP port to listen on for connections. The default is 5060.
IP address to bind to:
Specifies the IP address that we want the SIP service to bind to. Keep in mind that if a machine has
multiple IP addresses, we can specify that it bind to all by using 0.0.0.0 as the bindaddr. Also keep in mind that if we ever
change the IP of the server, we will have to adjust this variable, unless we use the 0.0.0.0 address. It may be a good idea to
only bind where you expect SIP traffic, for added security.
