Toward the endframe, locate the tension
roller between the black belts (Figure
7-34.
NOTE: In some cases, the
locknut will be on the same side
as the adjustment bolt.
Loosen the locknut (Figure 7-34, A) and
turn the bolt (B) to adjust the gap to about
1/8” (3 mm).
Tighten the locknut to secure the adjust-
ment.
Reverse Step 7 and release the spreader
solenoid main air solenoid screw by turn-
ing it 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
Reverse Step 4 and release the main air
solenoid screw by turning it 1/4 turn
counterclockwise.
Start the unit and process several pieces
to verify proper adjustment.
Make further adjustments as necessary.
