WARNING
Read the REPAIR chapter and make
sure that the power is disconnected
before doing any repairs.
6.9 Reject Section
ISSUE POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Rejected Flatwork Not Carried
to Front of Unit
1. Flatwork is jammed be-
tween reject and transfer
conveyors.
Shut down machine. Remove jam. •
2. MTR10 malfunction Check. Repair/replace as necessary. •
3. MP11 is tripped. Check/Reset. If motor protector con-
tinues to trip, check for short or other
problem in motor circuit.

4. CR39 has failed. Check. Replace as necessary. •
5. MTR10 drive belt is loose
or slipping.
Check. Adjust belt tension as neces-
sary. Refer to the REPAIR chapter,
Reject Section section, Reject Con-
veyor Drive Belt Tension Adjust-
ment procedure.
•
6. Improper tension on reject
conveyor ribbons.
Adjust. Refer to the REPAIR chapter,
Reject Section section, Reject Rib-
bon Tension Adjustment procedure.

7. Reject conveyor ribbon
drive roll and/or idler track-
ing tape worn smooth.
Replace. Refer to the REPAIR chapter,
Reject Section section, Reject Con-
veyor Drive Roll/Idler Roll Tracking
Tape Replacement procedure.

8. Signal not received from
control system.
Check LED for Wago I/O module LED
239. If it fails to light, trace the prob-
lem.
