Note I - For repeater operation, *5 23 shouid be turned on and *5 14
shouid be turned off. When *5 14 is on, the patch is in
simplex mode and *5 23, and *5 24 are used to modify the sample
rate.
Note 2 - This is a two part switch. The following switch number must
also be set. Refer to the section in the manual for more
detail on setting these.
Note 3 - Switches 23 and 24 have different uses for simplex and duplex
operation. If switch 14 is on and 36 is off, then 23 and 24
are used to adjust the sample rafe for simplex use. If 14 is
off, and 36 is on, then 23 is used for "Repeat Enable" and 24
is for "Courtesy Beep" during duplex use.
6.4 TIMERS
Several timers are available to configure the interconnect for optimum
use or persional preference. All timers are set with the *1 code.
The format to program these is:
*1 N T T T
| | |____ Three digits must be entered to specify the length of
| | time. Leading zeros are used for numbers smaller than
| | three digits long.
| |__________ This is a one digit number to identify which timer is
| being changed.
|______________ All timer codes start with *1.
