Phone in Use Detect
Intact: the SDI-50 checks the phone line for a busy
condition before allowing a mobile to connect, but, still
allows the use of the Special Connect Code for selective
override. (See Special Connect Code. )
Cut: a mobile may break into land-line to land-line
communication if the interconnect shares a common line with
a telephone.

Receive
Audio
Intact: This provides a fíat frequency response from the
receiver to the telephone line.
Cut: If the receive audio pick-up point is after de-
emphisis, cut this juinper.

Modified Pulse Dialing
Intact: Make Break ratio = 40/60 at lOpps
Cut: Make to Break ratio = 44/56 at 10 pps

Transmit Control
Intact: Half dúplex operation.
Cut: Full dúplex and Simplex operation.

Tx Level
Intact: Low impedance output of Tx amp.
Cut: High impedance output of Tx amp.

Mobile
Detect
The center pin, D, is common and connects to one of the
three other pins; A, B and C.
Pin A: Selects Noise only as the mobile detect signal.
Pin B: Selects CTCSS/DCS as the mobile detect signal for a
HIGH to LOW change when the mobile keys.
Pin C: Selects CTCSS/DCS as the mobile detect signal for a
LOW to HIGH change when the mobile keys.
