Symptom or Error
Motor doesn't move
2. Is Estop pressed in?
when commanded
If Estop is pressed in release it.
3. Are any faults preventing motion?
From the main screen, press F3-MDI. If the screen below is displayed,
no faults are active. If the software kicks you back out to the main
screen, please see the section: Troubleshooting Hardware And Program
Errors Reported By CNC11, to correct and clear the fault.
4. Are the servo amplifiers powered up and enabled?
Confirm that the amplifiers are under power and that the enables are
active. From the main screen, press alt-i to display the real-time I/O
screen. Press F3-MDI, and confirm outputs 17-20 are green as shown
below. If these outputs are on but the servo amplifiers indicate that they
are not enabled, check your wiring. Also, confirm that your amplifiers
utilize an active low enable signal. If your amplifiers require an active
high enable, you will need to wire your enables through available
outputs on the GPIO4D or 16/16 in order to invert the enable signal.
