6.6  Commissioning

During commissioning, watch for any malfunctions, such as parts which rub on each other 

and jammed parts.

6.6.1 Instructions

Safety instructions: Danger of injury during operation!

There is a danger of injury when operating the machine. Observe the following points:

•   Read the section "Safety" > "Safety instructions" (page 14) before carrying out work.
•   Do not put the machine into operation until all covers, hand protection devices and 

safety equipment are fitted.

•   Check all safety equipment for proper operation during start-up.
•   When the machine is switched off, always also secure it against unauthorised switch-on.
•  Make sure that only authorised personnel are  in the area of the machine.

Observe the following points during commissioning:

•   Is the machine ready for operation? - See the section "Producing readiness for operation" 

(page 50).

•   Is an approved diamond saw blade installed in the machine? See the section "Fitting and 

removing diamond saw blade" (page 53).
