8.3 V-belts
The following sections contain information on maintaining the V-belts:
• Tensioning V-belts (page 79)
• Replacing V-belts (page 81)
8.3.1 Tensioning V-belts
• The machine is switched off and secured against accidental switch-on, see the chapter
"Operation" > "Daily shut-down" (page 72).
• If necessary, the blade guard must be removed, see the chapter "Set-Up" > "Removing
and fitting blade guard" (page 56).
• If necessary, the diamond saw blade must be removed, see the chapter "Set-Up" > "Re-
moving and fitting diamond saw blade" (page 53).
• Flat-blade screwdriver
• Allen key (10 mm)
Carry out the following steps:
