covers
The machine is still opera-
tional with the protective
covers missing. There is a
danger of pulling in with
missing protective covers.
Never operate the machine without
protective covers.
The operator is obligated to monitor
the safety-conscious behaviour of the
personnel.
Danger of injury:
Pulling in | On the
flange cover
The flange on the side
opposite the saw blade
rotates. The flange must
be protected with a cover.
Due to the design, the
cover must be open at
the bottom and ends
at the underside of the
flange. There is danger
of being pulled in when
reaching in.
Never reach in under the cover during
operation.
Prohibition sign on the flange cover: Do
not touch.
Danger of injury:
Noise | During
operation
Due to noise emissions,
there is a danger of hear-
ing damage, reduced
concentration and equi-
librium disturbances.
Always wear hearing protection during
operation.
The operator is obligated to monitor
the safety-conscious behaviour of the
personnel.
Requirement sign on the machine:
Wear hearing protection.
Danger of injury:
Vibration | Hand-
arm vibration during
operation
During operation of the
machine, the vibrations
are in the area of the
triggering value. With
prolonged exposure,
there is a danger to the
operator.
The personnel alternate when
operating the machine.
The operator must manage the opera-
tors' duration of exposure.
Danger of injury:
Burns | On engine/
exhaust
Parts of the engine and
the exhaust system be-
come hot during opera-
tion. There is a danger of
burns.
Never touch the hot parts of the engine
or the exhaust system during or directly
after operation of the machine.
Always allow the engine to cool down
before working near the engine.
Always wear protective gloves when
working on the engine.
Danger of injury:
Tripping | Water
hose
The supply hose must be
adjusted during op-
eration with pressurised
water. There is a danger
of tripping.
Always watch the supply hose during
operation.
Always work safety-oriented.
