Operation
7.2.3 Switching on machine
• The readiness for operation of the machine has been produced, see the section "Set-Up"
> "Producing readiness for operation" (page 50).
• The conditions for start-up have all been met, see the section "Conditions" (page 64).
• The machine has been prepared for operation, see the section "Preparing machine for
operation" (page 65).
• An approved diamond saw blade has been fitted, see the chapter "Set-Up" > "Fitting and
removing diamond saw blade" (page 53).
• The swivelling unit of the cutting shaft has been moved up (out of the cut).
WARNING
Danger of injury on rotating parts of the machine!
There are parts on the machine which rotate. The operator can be pulled in in these areas
and seriously injured!
Always remain in the working area of the machine during operation, see the chapter
"Machine Overview" > "Working and danger areas" (page 46).
Never reach into rotating parts or under protective covers during operation!
Always make sure that there are no persons within the danger area of the machine dur-
ing operation!
CAUTION
Danger of injury during operation due to machine properties!
The machine is very loud during operation. The machine throws out abrasive material during
cutting.
Always wear hearing protection, protective gloves, safety shoes, protective goggles and
a dust protection mask during operation.
