UTILITY
key
:
When it is pressed it enables the access to the utility
functions.
SHIFT
key
:
If it is pressed together with the
RESET or
COUNTER keys
, it enables their working.
Manometer:
During the sterilization phase a pressure is created in
the chamber.
In the Maintenance section controls to be effected
are signalled.
Serial outlet:
The writing
printer
identifies the serial outlet SR2
through which it is possible to connect the sterilizer
with a PC or with a printer in order to carry out the
recording of the sterilization cycles.
Access to the reservoir
In the upper part of the equipment it is possible to
enter the reservoir, for its filling or its possible topping
up. We recommend to let the reservoir always closed
during the use of the autoclave.
We deeply recommend the use of distilled water in
order to avoid scalings in the machine that could
compromise its functionality.
Access to the chamber
Access to the sterilization chamber is made up of a
handwheel and a safety hook. In order to enter
inside the chamber keep the
safety hook raised, and
screw up the handwheel
anticlockwise.
Thanks to the safety hook, it is not possible to enter
the sterilization chamber when the equipment is
working. This in order to prevent the unintentional
opening of the autoclave with the consequent risk of
not effecting the sterilization or to damage things
and/or people. We recommend never to force the
lever in order to open the chamber, in this case wait
for some seconds and try to open again.
Chamber drain cock
If you open the door, placed on the right part of the
sterilizer, you approach the drain cock of the water
from the chamber, useful in case of malfunction.
Clutch to unload the water tank
By opening the autoclave door the proper tube can
be connected with the clutch for unloading the water
tank.
Please remember that the other end of the tube shall
be first put into a vessel to collect unloaded water.
INSTALLATION
Place the autoclave on a solid and strong plane. With
the help of a level, check the setting on the plane of
the sterilizer. If a regulation is necessary release the
nuts placed under the autoclave through a 13 mm.
key and unscrew or screw the feet until the optimal
positioning is reached, then lock the nuts.
Electric system connection
Connect up the power supply cable to the apparatus
and turn on the main switch
Connect the equipment to an electric plug equipped
with an earthing, with a feeding voltage of 230Volt.
and with a minimum capacity of 10A.
On the autoclave safety fuses of the kind 250V - 10A
- 5x20 are installed.
