Using C-mail
C-mail lets you exchange text messages that
contain up to 50 double-byte characters with
another au cellphone that supports C-mail.
Phone numbers are used as C-mail addresses.

au subscribers in the Kanto and Chubu areas do not need
a separate subscription to use C-mail. Subscribers outside of Kanto and Chubu
require a separate subscription.
C-mail Security

C-mail security blocks C-mail that contains any URLs

C-mail security is turned on by default the when you first start
using the phone.
If you want to be able to receive C-mail messages that contain
URLs and phone numbers, you can turn off C-mail security.
