position in case of a tandem Autosteer axle) for the
operation of the bale eject - Roller bale chute tandem
Autosteer axle hydraulic circuit.
Attach the quick-couplers with the red blanking
covers to a double acting control valve for the
operation of the crop cutting system hydraulic circuit.
ATTENTION: Keep the quick-couplers free from
contamination during installation and hook-up or damage
to the tractor and/or baler hydraulic system may result.
WARNING
Oil under pressure can have sufficient force to penetrate
the skin, causing serious personal injury. Always protect
the skin and eyes from escaping oil under pressure.
If injured by escaping oil, obtain medical assistance at
once. Serious infection or reaction can develop if medical
treatment is not administered immediately. Before
disconnecting hydraulic lines or fittings, ensure to relieve
all pressure. Before applying pressure to the system,
ensure that all connections are tight and that lines, pipes
and hoses are not damaged.
Hydraulic hoses are an important safety element in
modern machinery.
However, hose characteristics alter under pressure,
thermal and UV. light load over the years. Therefore, most
hoses now have a production date printed on them which
allows to determine the age Legislation in certain
countries and common sense require that hydraulic hoses
are replaced when they become 6 years old.
TRACTOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The tractor must have a negative earth 12 volt DC
power source, capable of supplying 80 Amp. peak
loads, without significant voltage drop.
The tractor must have an SAE standard 7
‐
pin
electrical socket according to SAE J560 to connect
the road lighting installation on the baler. Figure 37
shows the wiring layout in the plug.
