Activating a CDC

The Clin. Data tab is where you activate or deactivate clinical data categories
(CDCs). You must set up CDCs at the Clinical Data menu so they are available for
activation and deactivation at the station. For more information, see

Clinical data

. You can activate up to 200 CDCs per station. However, a maximum

of four categories are allowed per Remove, Return, or Waste transaction for each
medication.

1. Click the

Clin. Data

tab.

The Clin. Data tab appears, listing all CDCs that have been defined in Clinical
Data.

2. Select the CDC to activate and click

Activate/Deactivate Clinical Data

.

When activated, the word Yes appears in the Selected column for the chosen
CDC. If deactivated, no information appears in the Selected column for the
chosen CDC.

3. When you are finished, click

Save

.

4. Complete the steps outlined in the next section,
