limited range and is not
recommended.
Use the included extension cable
to ensure a “free line of sight”
between the PointX and the USB
Bluetooth dongle. Do not have
the Bluetooth mounted on the
back of a desktop PC.
Measuring issues
Measured distance is obviously
wrong.
1 Check that the measuring tubes
are fitted in the correct position
as shown on the PointX display
and in the Software.
2. Check that the tubes have the
correct length as shown on the
PointX display and in the
Software.
3. Make sure that you are
measuring the distance between
the points selected and shown on
the Vision2 PointX DataSheet.
4. Make sure to use the correct
tube/adapter for each point to be
measured.
Measured height is obviously
wrong
Any source of error during the
centering process will have an
adverse effect on the height
calculation during measuring.
The longer the measured
distance the higher the error will
be.
