Paper Feeder

IMPORTANT

If the printer unit cannot be placed on the paper feeder properly, lift the printer unit 
once, hold it horizontally, and place it again. If you try to set the printer unit 
forcefully without lifting it, the connector and positioning pins may be broken.

Attach the cassette protective cover to the printer unit and 
paper feeder.

Install the left side of the cassette protective cover 

a

 on the printer, then while 

pressing the right side of the cover 

b

, insert the cover into the back of the printer 

c

 as shown in the figure.

IMPORTANT

Do not put hands, press hard, or place objects on the cassette protective cover. It 
may damage to the cassette protective cover.

Set the paper cassette in the printer unit and paper feeder.

Open the output tray.

7

Connect the interface cables except for the USB cable, and 
connect the power cord.

Plug the power plug into the AC power outlet.

Connect the USB cable.
