Setting Up Your LASER CLASS 2060

Alarm lamp
This lamp flashes when an error occurs, or when the LASER CLASS
2060 is out of paper or toner.

Numeric buttons
Use these buttons to enter numbers and names when registering
information, and to dial fax/telephone numbers that are not
registered for automatic dialing.

Coded Dial/Directory button
Press this button to dial a fax/telephone number that you have
registered for coded speed dialing or to look up the other party’s
name and retrieve the number for dialing.

Receive Mode button
Use this button to select whether the LASER CLASS 2060 is set to
receive both telephone calls and fax documents on the same line
(Fax/Tel Mode), to receive faxes manually (MANUAL MODE), and
to use an answering machine to receive all calls (ANS.MACHINE
MODE).

Start/Copy button
Press this button to begin faxing, or copying.

Resolution button
Press this button to select the resolution the LASER CLASS 2060 will
use for the document you want to fax, or copy.

Stop button
Press this button to cancel sending, receiving, or any other operation.

One-Touch Speed Dial buttons
Use these buttons for one-touch speed dialing.

One-Touch Speed Dial panel
This panel displays buttons 01-32. Open this panel to access the
registration buttons.

Set button
Press this button to select a menu item when registering information.
