Problem Cause/Things to Check Solution
The device does not
print clearly.
The printing is
misaligned.
The printing is
missing or blurred.
Is the type and size of the
print media selected in the
print settings the same as
the print media actually
loaded? Check the loaded print
media and set the print
media type and size
correctly.
Is the ribbon cassette
loaded correctly? Remove the ribbon
cassette, remove any slack,
and then reinsert it.

Is the attachment or label
cassette loaded correctly? Remove the attachment or
label cassette, and reload it.

Is the tube twisted or
warped? Correct any twists or warps
before loading.

If the end of the tube is
bent due to winding or
other reasons, straighten
it out or cut off the bent
portion before loading it
into the printer.
Is the print media
deformed? Cut off the deformed part
of the print media and
reinsert it.
Is the tube dirty? Wipe off any dirt or dust
with a dry cloth. Also, do
not use tubes that have oil
or other stains that cannot
be wiped off .
Depending on your print
media and environment,
the print position may be
shifted or the length of one
tube (or one label) may be
diff erent from the setting. Make fi ne adjustments to
the print position and cut
length.

length adjust, set the half
cut to "Off " and cut with
scissors.
