Microscope mounting point
A microscope can be attached to the instrument with four bolts to a dedicated
mounting area on the base casting on the rear of the instrument; this ensures a rigid
mount rendering the microscope free from vibration.
The Campden CL200 cold light source (see above) can be fitted directly to the top of
the 7000smz-2 independently of the microscope. For ease of access you should fit
the light source before fitting the microscope.
The following illustrations show the general arrangement of a zoom microscope as
fitted to the instrument.
