Cuando va a cortar una pieza de
trabajo grande, mueva el tope
auxiliar hacia adelante 3.5 mm.
•
Si desea usar una rueda abrasiva
desgastada en forma continua,
levante la barra para seccionar con
un bloque de apoyo. Inspeccione el
bloque de apoyo para asegurarse de
que sea más pequeño que la barra
para seccionar. Esto permite que la
barra para seccionar pueda quedar
asegurada por la prensa.
CÓMO SUJETAR LA PIEZA
DE TRABAJO
•
Asegúrese de que la pieza de trabajo
esté bien sujetada. El trabajo deberá
estar correctamente colocado en la
prensa de modo que si hay una
obstrucción, la rueda no moverá la
pieza de trabajo. Los materiales mal
colocados pueden provocar daños al
trabajo y provocar un riesgo de
lesión, si hay una obstrucción.
•
La sierra de corte cortará en forma
más efectiva si la rueda está cortando
la parte más fina posible, como lo
indica la Figura 5. Para trabajos en
ángulo, coloque la cara con la
abertura más aguda hacia abajo en
la mesa de trabajo, como lo indica la
Figura 5. Esto permite que la rueda
abrasiva haga un corte eficiente.
CAPACIDAD DE CORTE
Los materiales que son demasiado
grandes o gruesos pueden provocar
que el motor de la sierra se queme y,
en casos extremos, un choque eléctrico.

Cuanto más gruesa es una pieza
de trabajo, mayor será el trabajo

Mantenimiento
CÓMO MANTENER LIMPIA
LA HERRAMIENTA:
No permita que líquido de frenos,
gasolina, productos a base de petróleo,
aceites penetrantes, etc. entren en
contacto con las piezas plásticas.
Éstos contienen sustancias químicas
que pueden dañar, debilitar o destruir
la caja, comprometiendo la integridad
del doble aislamiento.
•
Mantenga la salida del motor bien
ventilada y limpia. Puede usar aire
comprimido para soplar el polvo del
motor.
•
Verifique el alojamiento del cojinete
y la caja de engranajes

sin carga durante 10 minutos.

Stay alert, watch what you are
doing, and use common sense when
operating a power tool. Do not use
tool while tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol, or
medication. A moment of
inattention while operating power
tools may result in serious personal

Do not wear loose fitting clothing,
scarves, or neck ties in work area.

in moving parts and result in

Do not wear jewelry when
operating any tool. Jewelry may

switch is in the locked or OFF
position before inserting plug,

Carrying tools with your finger on
the switch or inserting the plug into

Remove any adjusting key or
wrench before turning the power

TOOL USE AND CARE:

Do not use tool if switch does not
turn it ON or OFF. Any tool that
cannot be controlled with the switch
is dangerous and must be repaired.

Disconnect the plug from the power
source before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or
storing. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of accidental
starting.

Use clamps or another practical way
to secure the workpiece to a stable
platform. Never hold work in your
hand, lap, or against other parts of
your body.

This tool must NOT be modified or
used for any application other than
that for which it was designed.

Never use a tool if its cover or any
bolts are missing. If the cover or bolts
have been removed, replace them
prior to use. Maintain all parts in
good working order.

Do not force the tool. Use the
correct tool for your application.
The correct tool will do the job
better and safer at the rate for
which it is designed.

Maintain tools with care. Keep
cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained tools with
sharp cutting edges are less likely
to bind and are easier to control.
•
Check for misalignment or binding
of moving parts, breakage of parts,
and any other condition that may
affect the tool’s operation. If
damaged, have the tool serviced
before using. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained tools.
•
Use only accessories that are
recommended by the manufacturer
for your model. Accessories suitable
for one tool may create a risk of
injury when used on another tool.
•
When not in use, tools should be
stored safely on a dry, fireproof,
locked-up place, out of the reach of
children and other untrained
