DESCRIPTION

001SDTEWL is a double technology (passive infrared and microwave)

radio-based outdoor sensor.

The alarm is generated when both technologies detect together.

The sensor is tamperproof protected thanks to its built-in anti removal

system.

Precautions

WARNING. The device runs on lithium batteries. Handle with care.

Danger of explosion or fire. Do not throw the batteries into a fire,

do not heat or damage the batteries. Respect the shown polarities.

To replace the batteries contact a SKILLED TECHNICIAN.

Dispose of exhausted batteries in compliance with the laws in

effect, even when decomissioning the device. If any liquid comes

out, protect your hands with special gloves.

This sensor is designed to operate in very bright settings. The sensor,

however, must not be exposed to direct beams of very high intensity light.

We suggest installing the sensor in areas protected from weather

agents.

To maintain the protection level, you must use o-rings and issued

screws when installing.

Otherwise the product could malfunction, and the manufacturer

declines any liability in this case. The sensor can detect animal presence.

* The estimated effectiveness of the sensor's battery in inversely propor-

tionall to the number of detections it is subjected to (regardless of whether

the alarm system is armed or not). If the sensor is installed in areas with

high-flow rates, then the battery life could be drastically shortened.
** The maximum range greatly depends on the outside temperature.

For the system to work properly the supervision MUST be ENABLED

(DIP1=ON)

DIP2 (radio test)

ON

Enabled. The sensor transmits a radio signal at one second

intervals to test the radio range

 OFF

Disabled. Use this mode with NORMAL operation

DIP3 (mode)

ON

TEST

 OFF

NORMAL

Move DIP3 only when no detection is taking place (if the LEDs are ena-

bled, move the DIP when they are all turned off). The sensor confirms

the passing to TEST or NORMAL mode by giving off sounds:

- TEST -> NORMAL: some quick "beeps"

- NORMAL -> TEST: long "beep"

If you hear no sound, this means that the sensor did NOT go into chosen

mode: Just repeat the moving of DIP3

DIP4 (LED and BUZZER adjustments)

OFF

Buzzer, DL1, DL2 disabled.

The DL3 is managed by jumper JP3. Use this working

mode in normal operation to increase the batteries' life.

ON

Buzzer, DL1, DL enabled

DIP5-DIP6 walk test

OFF

Normal operation

ON

IR walk test (DL1 stays on, DL3 notifies of detection)

OFF
ON

MW walk test (DL2 stays on, DL3 notifies detection)

OFF

The walk tests are for making detection area adjustments to the sensor.

Infrared and microwave adjustments are independent.
