Safe handling of the rechargeable battery
When you do not use your CS for a longer period of time (e.g. during the
winter season) observe some particularities.
Storing dry
Store the rechargeable battery in a dry room at temperatures between
5 and 20 °C. The state of charge should be 50 to 70 % of the charging
capacity.
Check the state of charge, if the rechargeable battery is left unused for
more than two months, and recharge the battery in between, if necessary.
Do not forget your spare battery, if you have one.
Cleaning
Clean the battery housing with a dry or, if at all, a slightly moist cloth.
While cleaning, check the housing for possible damage.
Do not direct the water jet of a high-pressure cleaner at the rechargeable
battery, as there is a risk of water entry and/or short-circuit. Check after
every cleaning whether the area around the rechargeable battery is free of
water and whether the contacts are dry.
For more information see the system instructions of the drive system
manufacturer BOSCH.
