Full Suppression based on the Amplitude of the Signal
Full Suppression based on the signal amplitude (ZS_AMP) allows the user to discard data from one chan-
nel if the signal does not exceed the programmed threshold for at least Ns subsequent data. Threshold
and Ns can be defined through registers 0x1n24 and 0x1n28 respec vely
, and Ns is programmable
specifically by register address 0x1n28.
It is also possible to define a logic of acquisi on according to bit[31] of register 0x1n24. In case of posi ve
logic, the condi on is met when the data is over threshold; in case of nega ve logic, the condi on is met
when the data is under threshold.
Fig.
shows an example of ZS_AMP in case of 4 channels. Channel 0 and channel 2 are over ZS_Threshold
(T
AMP
) for at least Ns samples (N
OVT
) and the corresponding channels are wri en in the output data. Sam-
ples from channel 1 are not over-threshold, and samples from channel 3 are over-threshold for less than
Ns samples. The la er two channels are not recorded.
