2.1.1 Indicators
The SmartSTACK Ethernet ELS10-27 will supply port level and system
level information via front panel LEDs.
Port LEDs
There are 54 LEDs on the SmartSTACK Ethernet ELS10-27 built into the
RJ-45 harmonica connectors. Each port has a Link LED and a function
LED. There are 8 possible functions which can be chosen from using the
push button on the front panel. The functions are as follows:
Transmit (TX)
Receive (RX)
Activity (TX + RX)
Collisions (COL)
Full Duplex Operation (FDX)
100 Mbps Operations (100)
Monitor Port (MON)
Errors (ERR)
There is an LED for each of the functions listed above on the front panel.
The EPIM-100FX supports a single green LED which indicates link. When
the EPIM slot is active, the Status LED from the corresponding port (26
and\or 27) will be used.

Button Function
Status Cycles through the Segment Status options (TX, RX,
Act, Col, FDX, 100, MON, and Usr) for all ports. The
right-hand port status LEDs of the ports you are
monitoring are activated based on what function you
chose with the Select button.
Reset Restarts the SmartSTACK Ethernet ELS10-27.
