1.5 OVERVIEW
The SmartSTACK Ethernet ELS10-27 provides a low cost, high
performance solution for 10/100 Mbps switched networks. The
SmartSTACK Ethernet ELS10-27TX is conÞgured with twenty-seven RJ45
ports supporting twenty-four autonegotiating 10 Mbps ports and three
autonegotiating 10/100 Mbps ports. The device also features two EPIM-
100 slots that allow the user to install up to two EPIM-100s to provide
multimode Þber uplinks (with potential for single mode Þber). It also
includes an RS232C port for out-of-band management.
