Disable
If the disable command is entered without any port(s) speciÞed, the
display reports the state of all of the ports. It does not disable any of the
ports.
ELS10-27> disable
Usage: disable [PORT-RANGE]

Enabled, Rip listening, port w/o link

Enabled, Rip listening
Port 3:

Switch
The switch command,

[802.1d | 802.1Q]
[cut[-through] | store[-and-forward]]
[back[pressure] {on | off}]
allows you to select the mode in which the ELS10-27 operates. The two
modes are 802.1D (spanning tree) or 802.1Q (spanning tree with IEEE
VLANs). In addition, you can select cut through or store and forward,
