Series 90 Setup Manual
Reset
The Reset command is used to terminate the operation currently in progress. It also is used to
re-establish communication between the PC and the tester. This command typically is used
after power has been turned off and then back on, thereby interrupting communication
between TestDiag and the tester. The tester also can be reset by the button in the middle of
the screen labeled
Reset
.
View Menu
The View Menu contains only one command, Status Bar. The Status Bar switches between on
and off each time the Status Bar command is selected. A check mark appears to the left of the
Status Bar command to indicate when it is turned on.
Help Menu
The Help Menu is a standard Windows menu. At this time there is no help index available for
TestDiag; however, the current version of TestDiag can be viewed by selecting the About
TestDiag command. A Register button, on the About window, opens a Register dialog box for
viewing and entering the company and user name and a serial number. The Cablescan phone
number and address also are provided in this window.
