Reduction gearbox BvL 108960 (special equipment)
An oil change requires approx. 9 liters of type SAE 80W-
85 (API GL5, VG 150). Only perform an oil change when
the oil has reached its operating temperature. The oper-
ating temperature is approx. 30°C-40°C.
1. Switch off the motor and secure against inadvertent
restarting.
2. Place a collecting pan under the gear unit (capacity
approx. 15 liters).
3. Unscrew the oil drain plug (2) on the bottom of the
gear unit.
4. Wait until no more oil runs out of the oil drain screw.
5. Screw in the oil drain plug (2) and firmly tighten it
(use a suitable sealant).
6. Unscrew the oil level checking screw (1) on the
gear unit.
7. Keep filling in gear oil using the oil pump until gear
oil starts running out at the oil level checking
screw (1) (approx. 9 liters).
8. Screw in the oil level checking screw (1) and firmly
tighten it (use a suitable sealant).
